We recently had Amy Kober and Bob Irvin (President) of American Rivers on a Grand Canyon river trip. Amy blogged about their trip and river experiences - saying "This place blew my mind, heart and soul." You can read all of her blog here.
She is also a guest blogger on National Geographic's Water Currents where she wrote "A Week in Grand Canyon: What’s the Value of Recreation?" This gives a perspective on the value of recreation, more importantly the intangible value of things you can't put a price tag on - California condors, big horn sheep, watching shooting stars, not to mention our own mental health and well being. We encourage you to read both, not because of Arizona River Runners, but because they are excellent articles and will get you thinking!
Thank you for rafting the Grand Canyon with us - we hope you enjoyed your oar trip!
