"Desert Rose Resort suited our before and after lodging needs to perfection. Enjoyed the "isolation" from the Strip, suites/rooms with kitchens were utilized, "hospitality hour" welcome and pleasant staff. Excellent bookends to our Arizona River Runners experience.
Kudos to boatmen Marty and Julie for expanding our Grand Canyon experience with history, geology, flora, fauna and most importantly, our well being and safety. Riley was similarly charming, knowledgeable and able.
Bet you hear it all the time, but I had tears choppering out of the Canyon and anticipating the pending Life Above the Rim. A truly unforgettable week, and I expect to return and ride Arizona River Runners in a few years.
