"The river and Canyon are almost mystical. I enjoyed all I learned about the Canyon and geology. The side hikes were beneficial and enjoyable. Sleeping under the starry skies was special.
Our trip stopped at the narrowest spot in the Canyon (976 ft), the guides cut the engines, we drifted in the narrow and read Genesis I - it was special.
Everything was professionally organized and operated. Ken, Dan and the other boatmen were excellent. Ken's morning readings before striking out for the day on the river were excellent selections and very enjoyable.
I never doubted that we were in very capable hands with the crew of Arizona River Runners.
