National Geographic Traveler México features Arizona River Runners in the May Edition, on the cover and 14 page spread of gorgeous photos and travel tails. The writer (and photgrapher) Alfredo Martínez Fernández, says "Este es uno de
esos viajes que cambian tu vida." (This is one of those trips that change your life). The article is full of beautiful photos depicting white water rafting, off river hiking, camping on the sandy beach, ARR guides setting up lunch, and the indescribable beauty of the Canyon.
Señor Fernández took our 7 Day Grand Canyon rafting trip and was simply amazed. (With a deafening sound the water flooded the raft, the next wave four meters high swallowed us; with adrenaline pressing us to hold on to the straps of the boat, with Elk our guide handling it, we seemed insignificant before/humbled by the rapids of the Colorado River and the gigantic cliffs and outcrops of rock..., silent guardians of time.)
Take the time and read the incredible account of this writer's experience and his photos, you will be awestruck!
